Have you ever felt stuck in your career?

What would you do about it if you weren't afraid?

Career transitions can be scary. Many professionals feel stuck, disappointed, unengaged even though most are highly educated, effective, and accomplished, but are still unsure about what they can do to solve this conundrum. Now that the workplace is more turbulent than ever before, people are more likely to branch out and find their true calling.

I help professionals who feel stuck in their careers to make value-based career transitions that work for them.

Career Transitions Are Never Easy, But They Are Worth It

I aim to help people with their career transitions through the following models and behaviors:

  • Discovering their true authentic self
  • Finding courage for value-based growth
  • Building a community of connections to help them fulfill these aspirations

At the end of the day, I encourage people who feel stuck to examine their purpose in life and apply that same purpose in their career direction.

As your coach, I will use proven diagnostics to focus on your leadership, communications style and how you react to stress, what comes easily to you, what situations and people enable you to thrive.

We will develop a rubric or map of where you fit, how you add value, and what makes you feel whole, alive, and happy.

To help you understand the work marketplace that matches what you really want from a new career.

Once we know that piece, I will help you open and expand your network so others can open doors and opportunity with/for you.

And finally, we will develop a career plan that is flexible, but specific with goals you want to achieve and how you will accomplish them.

I benefitted from Jeff’s coaching in guiding me to treat my career transition as an entrepreneur. He’s provided substantial direction in many areas that together direct me to think about what I want from employment and how that matches what I want from my life. His coaching develops several clear, methodical, and practical areas for actively developing contacts, joining communities, and expanding awareness of interests and professional desires.

"I have known Jeff through a professional networking group. We often talk one on one and I've also seen him skillfully facilitate group discussions. Jeff has an astute mind and an open heart. He is uniquely capable to engage with women, enabling them to feel safe, listened to, and coached. He will give intuitive insight and useful resources so you can make better decisions. He is neither overbearing nor judgmental, and he invites deep, important conversations. He walks his talk in his personal and professional life and has shown both courage and wisdom in his own life and career changes. I encourage anyone who is thinking of making a career transition to work with Jeff to help make changes to a happier and more fulfilled life. He gets my highest recommendation!"

Susan Neville

"Jeff is an exceptional coach. I've known him for close to five years, and I recently began working with him to get guidance on an important career transition. After five short sessions, I now have a plan with a clear set of milestones that are both practical and aligned with my needs and ambitions. Why: because Jeff has the right combination/balance of listening skills, empathy, and understanding to guide the conversations where they need to go. All that, plus he's a mensch (a great person)."

Giovanni Rodriguez

"Jeff used his vast business knowledge, strong listening skills and incredible network to help me articulate a passion that even caught me by surprise. Not only that, he was able to connect me with a forum to explore this idea further. For those in career transition, or are wanting to explore ways to turbo charge an existing role, I strongly recommend talking with Jeff."

Jonathan Levy

"I had the privilege of working with Jeff as my executive coach during a career transition. During this period of reflection Jeff gave me the tools and insight on how to be a more effective leader. He challenged me to view myself in the light of where I may operate at my peak performance where I can be most effective in developing high performance teams. His though provoking guidance through our interactive sessions helped me select the right qualities for my next role in which where I may grow professionally and aligned with my own interests. I highly recommend Jeff for those who are thinking of or in the midst of a career transition."

Alan Hakimi

"I have had the privilege of knowing Jeff for a number of years and I really appreciate the way he has helped me grow in so many areas. I still remember the first time I met when he was a Professor of Business at a time when I was working on academic relations, and he was the first professor to ask upfront what would be the maximum value we could achieve by partnering.

Skip forward to more recent times and Jeff has helped me focus on understanding my ultimate value, whether that's analyzing how I deal with stress or addressing the prism through which I view myself and the world.

Jeff is an excellent coach and transition partner who provides strong guidance that goes well beyond normal career advisory services."

I strive to accomplish this by listening and truly understanding each and every one of my client's wants and needs with empathy.

Having been through the process myself, by making the transition from a corporate career to forming my own businesses, I am able to understand my client's fears about making the career jump and coaching them through this change.

I am a certified coach and trained to assess how you show up and react to people and events, I bring structure, expertise, and a process for a partnership journey to help you find work that matters to you.
